My Convocation on 5.20 @ Taylor's University

Last Sunday was my convocation day at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. Woke up early to prepare myself, and then departed from home to Taylor's around 9.20am. Bring along my sis so I can pass the guest tickets to her before I went into the hall in case dad couldn't reach in time. Got the robes and mortarboard as well as the tickets, got myself well with the robes then passed over the tickets to my sis. Dad came not long after that and we took photos and walked around the campus.

The ceremony starts around 2.15p.m., speech given and then all graduates line up to go on stage. The ceremony ends around 3.20p.m., then we move out from the hall for photo shooting.

Left the campus around 4.45pm after late lunch in the restaurant, dad went to his work place straight and I went home with sis & bro. Very tired whole day through, working next day so did not update my blog directly. 

Now I can shout ‘I'm officially graduated’! Miss study life though sometimes working, but those have passed can't be repeated. I don't feel anything special as I'm currently part of the society even I'm officially a graduate. Keep my finger crossed and wish my life will be better and best with my career now, as well as in future.

  

Fun Adventurous Trip with S&M Team @ ATV Adventure Park

It's another week again, half of May has passed, like I said, time really flies. This weekend is another sleepless weekend for me, again. Saturday went for an outing with my beloved colleagues and today I just got back from my convocation at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. Well, this post will be fully focus about trip with my colleagues, just stay tuned for my next post about my convocation okay?

Our sales team earned some incentives for 3K plus thus we planned to have an outing, with the money. At the end we decided to go for ATV Ride, and special thanks to my dear colleague, Vini Chee for organizing this fun trip for us. ATV stands for All-Terrain Vehicle, also known as quad bike, is defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a vehicle that travels on low-pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles. 

I wasn't know what is this and how it looks like, thus I check with Uncle Google only know that this is ATV.........

Ta-Da!

Everyone was thinking how we gonna drive this thing, and most of us are ladies! How we gonna control this big bike?! No worries, there was a safety briefing before we start our journey. The problem was, we still don't know how to drive after the briefing. Alrite, we went on the ATV, there were few ATV guides guiding us and we went round and round practice how to drive it up and down thru the slope. After 3 rounds till we're really confident, then we start our journey of adventure.

We were divided into 3 groups with 5 persons each group with a guide in front to assist anytime when necessary. On our way there were muds, uneven roads with big and small rocks, and 45 degree slopes......Really need to hold the steering hard otherwise it will lost control. 

Till we reached a jungle with a waterfall in, we stopped there to rest and start to play water! Quite a long time did not go to lagoon or waterfalls, it's a must to say hi to the nature!

After about half an hour, we drove back using the same way where we came. Back to the park there's a pool and some of them wet themselves again!

Back from the ride they went into water again. Stress released!

Went to bath after that and lunch at McD with Vini and 4 others. Straight back to KL Sentral to get my car and go back home. Tiredness day but fun and adventurous. Next outing we're planning to go Cherating......Looking forward!

That's all for this post, not forgetting my graduation post will be updated within this week. Next week gonna be my busy week as I gonna prepare little test for my 3 lil students, hope I could get enough time to get things prepared and time to rest. 

Awesome Mother's Day Dinner @ Latest Recipe, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur

It's Mother's Day today! How you guys celebrate this special with your mother?? Well, I had an awesome and fantastic dinner yesterday with my mum:)

I made the reservation about one month before the day, since I'm working in Le Méridien so planned to bring my family to try out the buffet. But too bad that my dad will be working, so there's only me, mum, sis and bro. Latest Recipe, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur was having this promotion RM148.00++ per person with mother dines free with 3 paying adults, so my mum can eat free while I pay for 3 of us.

We departed from home to hotel around 6.30p.m., reached hotel around 7p.m.. Saw the GM, Mr Harvey and the F&B Director, Fauzy standing outside of Latest Recipe. They were so friendly and gentleman greeted with my mum, mum was so happy when she heard Fauzy thought she's my sister hahaha. 

Once we're seated, we started to walk around the buffet stalls and counters to get food! Here they are;)

We finished the dinner around 10p.m. and left hotel about 10.30p.m.. Was thinking to upload the photos and update my blog but I was so tired and fell asleep on the sofa. Woke up around 3 something midnight and dad was back at home. Off my lappie and continue my sleep then. Had a wonderful Mother's Day dinner, gotta think what's special for Father's Day coming next month;)

~It's First Week of May~

Stepped into the 5th month, it's May 2012. Just got my second payslip from Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, time flies! Well, it's time to reward myself after one month working:)

Planned to go shopping early in the morning yesterday but couldn't wake up as I sleep late middle of the night. Woke up in the noon and thought I could get to the International Beauty Expo at KLCC before it closed at 7p.m.. Cancelled last minute and I meet Sabrina at Pavillion. Went for dinner at Wong Kok Restaurant, after that I bought a pair of flat shoes at NOSE. Went to Fahrenheit next door after that, was thinking to buy the BB Cream Skin 79 at KBS Beauty, but they were closed due to attending the Beauty Expo at KLCC. Alright, no worries as I'm going to the Beauty Expo. Walked into a Korean style boutique and bought few pairs of cute and nice earrings. Satisfied! 'Sealed' my wallet and not buying anything again after that. Oopsss! Snowflake for dessert at Pavillion after back from Fahrenheit. But we have one for free cuz she got 10 full stamps on her card after we got our snowflakes, can't finish it there and I asked for cover and plastic bag for take away.
